a one-week hands-on cooking class that includes fermenting techniques and
recipes from cultures around the world and Sandor's extensive knowledge of
the subject, Sandor Katz, instructor. Room, board and camping available.

Rolling Hills Resource Conservation & Development Council and the Carroll County Cooperative Extension Service are pleased to announce a sustainable agriculture program being offered called the Sustainable Growers School.
This program is designed to teach new and existing growers sustainable farm and land conservation practices. This exciting program is taught at the Carroll County Extension Service Office in Carrollton, Ga. and on local farms that employ sustainable and organic practices. SGS utilizes classroom, lab and field work as practical elements in educating its students in sustainable and organic production management and marketing practices.
The course consists of 4 core session and two 3 session elective tracks. The class runs alternate Saturdays starting January 10th. Mentoring opportunities will be available throughout the class.
