Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Health Professionals

Listed below is information for health professionals interested in attending the conference for professional education. The list will be updated as approvals are received. Please contact Kathy Kramer, Director of Continuing Education for the Weston A. Price Foundation at info@westonaprice.org if you have further questions.

When registering for the conference, you can register for CEUs. The cost FOR CEUs is $25 per day or $65 for the full three days. Register by October 5 to save $50 on the conference registration fees.

Approving Organizations

  • Chiropractors (DCs): 
    • Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; Board of Chiropractic Examiners: Approval received for 15.8 CEUs. (This is reciprocal in some states, please check with your state.)
  • Registered Dietitians (RD) and Dietetic Technicians:
  • Nutritionists: 
    • National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP): 15.8 Category I CEUs. Certificate of Attendance is required (not full CEU payment) CHEK Institute and NTA (requires a Certificate of Attendance only - $5 fee) American College of Nutrition requires a CEU certificate. Register for CEUs and sign in with the RDs.
  • Nursing
    • This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC); most states accept this: 15.8 contact hours.
  • Acupuncture and Massage Therapists:
    • National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM): Approved for 15.5 PDA points. For massage therapists, check with your governing board to see if they accept these credits.)

Poster Presentations

Submissions of abstracts for Poster Presentations from health professionals on a broad range of topics relating food and nutrition to health are welcome. Click on Poster Displays in the conference menu or contact Kathy Kramer at info@westonaprice.org for more information.
