GENERAL ASSEMBLY HAS BEGUN. EVENTS MOVE LIKE LIGHTNING. PLEASE WATCH FOR ALERTS!!!
Several bills of interest have been filed and we are posting ALERTS.

WHEN: Thursday, January 29, 2009, 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: 1st Floor Lobby, General Assembly Building, Capitol Square, Richmond

WHAT: Grassroots Lobbying and Food Samples Distribution

WHY: So our legislators can know us and what we want, and we can know them

ACTION:
1. Please come to VICFA Day, Thursday, January 29th.

Help make local farm fresh food a reality for all Virginians. We will distribute to
our legislators samples of Virginia farm food products and provide information for
grassroots lobbying. Newcomers will be paired with experienced members. First
timers fear not!

BILL UPDATE: HJ 731, Constitutional Amendment on regulations, passed out of
sub-committee Monday morning and goes to full committee vote Friday morning. Watch for ALERT.
